15 Watt Amplifier

You can use this circuit with any walkman or CD player since it is designed to take a standard 500mv RMS signal. A 15 watt amplifier made using discrete components. Sergio designed this circuit for his Electronics Level II course. This amplifier uses a dual 20 Volt power supply and delivers 15...

20 Watt / Channel Stereo Power Amplifier

This project (unlike most of the others, but in a similar vein to Project 19) is based almost directly on the typical application circuit in the National Semiconductor specification sheet. You can also use the TDA3050 (from SGS-Thompson), which has almost identical performance and (remarkably)...

Class-D Audio Power Amplifier

The first application has to be a stereo power amp, since that`s what I built using two prototype modules. The reasons for this choice are twofold ... a good high powered stereo amp is always useful, and it was important to be able to assess the sound quality in this role. I am at something of a...

Mini Class A Audio Amplifier

The philosophy behind this minimalist design has been explained by Flavio Dellepiane on his highly interesting site 1. I have myself written an article about this fleapower amp from Italy in the American magazine AudioXpress 2. All relevant details are published there. A single channel of the...

Small LM386 Amplifier

This is one of my favorites. The LM386 is a low voltage audio power amplifier. It can provide 125mW to 750mW, enough for any project that uses audio. This circuit can work with batteries, requieres minimum external parts and works from 4 to 18 Volts (contact the manufacturer or read the technical...

Stereo Headphone Amplifier with LM386

Audio-taper pot, R1, adjusts input level into two LM386 amplifier chips. The LM386 is a low-voltage audio power amplifier, designed to operate on 4V to 12V. It has an internal 15K feedback resistor between pins 1 and 5 which would set the gain at 20 (26dB).

Signal-conditioner-with-bridge

The LT1007 is capable of providing excitation current directly to bias the 350-0 bridge at 5 V. With only 5 V across the bridge, as opposed to the usuallO V, total power dissipation and bridge warm-up drift is reduced.
