Its very simple as It uses only 3 transistors 2n2222.The Coils can be altered to change the range of reception by lowering or highering the frequency.

Need to know if L2 is connected to the collector of Q2 in parallel to c3. The schematic does not show a connection, but I question that. And on the other end of L2 does it only connect with R1 and R4?
