Category: Inside Circuits Views: 2224 Rank: 10 The antenna tunning circuit can accommodate 1/2 wave length antennas or higher, for input resistances of 50 Ohms which make it suitable for CB (Citizen Band) transceivers. C1 is for fine tunning and C2 is just for tunning. Turning C3 with the help of C2 you can set the SWR to 1:1. The Coil L is made of 11 turns of insulated copper wire with diameter of 1mm. If you use 1/2 wave length antenna (5.5m) then C3 has to be set to highest capacitance. The connection with the receiver can be done using the SO-239 connector (UHF) or with BNC's. Keep the distance of the cable between the transceiver and the tunning cir

Each of the subsequent stages is preceded by a voltage divider formed by two resistors and CMOS switch. Provided that the CMOS switch for each stage is closed, the drive signal will be... Hi-Fi stereo Preamplifier with tone controls The circuit is based on the known chip TDA1524, which is an integrated control Volume, Bass, treble, and Balance. These arrangements are made through 4 potentiometers (P5-P8) with trend. The integrated circuit IC1, to run the needed very few external components. The potentiometer PI-P4 are used... This simple circuit uses a multivibrator to generate the beats and a subsequent audio amplifier stage to increase the output level. Rs-232C Line-Driven Cmos Circuits The circuit illustrates a way to power CMOS ICs from RS-232C lines. The MAX680 is normally used to genera This transmitter consists of a keyed crystal oscillator/driver and a high efficiency final, each with a TMOS Power FET as the active element. The total parts cost less than $20, and no special construction skills or circuit boards are required. The Pierce oscillator is unique because the high... This circuit is designed to detect the presence or absence of aqueous fluids. An ac signal generated on-chip is passed through two probes within the fluid. A detector determines the presence of the fluid by using the probes in a voltage divider circuit and measuring the signal level across the... When the torque load on the motor increases, its current increases. This current increase is sensed across Rs, and positive feedback is applied to the noninverting terminal of the LH0101, thereby increasing the motor voltage to compensate for the increased torque load. Infrared emissions detected by Ql are fed through Ula to Ulb, which amplifies the signal by a factor of 100. The amplified output ofUlb is fed to Ulc through R9, C2, and R6. Potentiometer R9 serves as a volume control. With R9 set to pass the maximum signal, Ulc provides a gain of 100, for a... Tuning a CB Radio Antenna

I am trying to build a mobile antenna that runs on the 27MHz frequency. The whip length is 0.980m, what i would need help on is the coil and the cap sizes, The coil diameter is 1.25cm, and the coil insulator length is 4cm long.
