After a lot of searching the web, I could not find a 16 step sequencer schematic that didn`t require an arduino or PIC or some other digital controller. Here is a simple 3 chip analog 16 step sequencer with variable speed and arpeggio I came up with, based off many other inspirations as noted in the file. The I .The purpose of this circuit was to create a ring in which LEDs or Lamps illuminate sequentially. Its main feature is a high versatility: you can build a loop containing any number of LEDs or Lamps, as each illuminating device has its own small circuit. The diagrams show three-stage circuits for simplicity: you can add an unlimited number of stages .The bi-directional sequencer uses a 4 bit binary up/down counter (CD4516) and two "1 of 8 line decoders" (74HC138 or 74HCT138) to generate the popular "Night Rider" display. A Schmitt Trigger oscillator provides the clock signal for the counter and the rate can be adjusted with the 500K pot. Two additional Schmitt Trigger inverters are used as a S .This circuit is similar to the LED clock using 12 neon indicator lamps instead of LEDs. It operates from 2 high capacity ni-cad cells (2.5 volts) which keep it going for a couple weeks. High voltage (70 volts) for the neon lamps is obtained from a small switching power supply using a 74HC14 Schmitt trigger squarewave oscillator, high voltage... .This novel circuit uses a flashing LED as the clock input for a 4017 decade counter. Typical flashing LEDs (eg, DSE cat Z-4044) flash at about 2Hz so the outputs Q0-Q9 will cycle through at that rate. For example, Q0 will turn on for half a second, then Q1, then Q2 etc up to Q8 then it will start at Q0 again. Up to nine outputs can be used. If you .Dedicated model rail enthusiasts using sophisticated train and points controllers often have the problem that as their layouts get bigger and more complex, the transformer supplying power to the points does not have enough current to switch several points at the same time. The actuators in the points are designed for ac operation so it doesn`t hel .The model 4017 integrated circuit is a CMOS counter with ten output terminals. One of these ten terminals will be in a "high" state at any given time, with all others being "low, " giving a "one-of-ten" output sequence. If low-to-high voltage pulses are applied to the "clock" (Clk) terminal of the 4017, it will increment its count, forcing the next .Here is another example of using a CD4051 multiplexer, or more accurately a pair of CD4051s in parallel. I had lifted much of the core logic and circuits from Dave Jones designs. Again these are old designs offered from a historical perspective. I built this sequencer for a public access facility I was involved with for a while. At the time they o .an intermediate to advanced project and I do not recommend it as a first project if you are just getting started in synths or electronics. Only the circuit and some explanation are shown here. A lot of project building, troubleshooting and electronics experience is assumed. Additionally, electronic equipment ownership (scope, meters, etc. ) .A mechanism by which a normal pot could be used as a digitized pot since I need each pot`s setting to be converted to a number between 0 and 15. I use that information to determine the duration for each step. I accomplished this by designing an analog to digital convertor that could take a pot`s position and convert it to a number between 0 and... .This is an intermediate to advanced project and I do not recommend it as a first project if you are just getting started in synths or electronics. Only the circuit and some explanation are shown here. A lot of project building, troubleshooting and electronics experience is assumed. Additionally, electronic equipment ownership (scope, meters, etc. ) .Low-Pass and High-Pass audio output signal filters. Additional Sound Source Low Pass filter and experimental original design puls-gate signal filter ("processor"), both of which have independent or linked together Voltage Control input option. The synthesiser can be used as sound-effect (siren-like effect) box or can be controlled by a... .The next job is the LNA transistor replacement, but the trouble is repeated already within next contest. Such problem is usually result of unsuitable time sequence of switching between receive and transmitting, where due to different delays (for example by mechanical movement of relay parts) may happen conflict between beginning of transmission... .Back panel terminal connectors: Audio out, Trigger In, Clock In, Clock out CV out; plus the chord of the power supply which is internal, note that there`s no button to switch it ON/OFF: just plug and play. SEQUENCER steps mode with 8 levers from lower to higher octaves - all are extremely sensible to each minimum move. A sequence has two main... .The circuit diagram of this programmable sequencer could be applied in a number of timing uses. Prior to the start of each interval, an audible tone is generated, and a seven-segment LED display shows the interval number. Prior to the end of that inerval, the buzzer sounds again. IC1 is a 2240 timer/counter device that clocks up to 256 periods,... .I am feeding that box with 12 volts, and it has a sequencer board, some external relays to drive the coaxial relays, preamp and the amplifier. As you can see, this sequencer board has some DIL relays, they are only intended to drive external relays that actually control all of the above. There are indeed more relays on that board than needed,... .The following video is of my test circuit of a 16 step analog sequencer based on Mauno Tuominen`s schematic for an analog CMOS sequencer based around at 4067n multiplexer/demultiplexer. You can see a DIY version of the sequencer here at studiomanus. com. I had an old sn76477 which I had been planning on turning into something so I started with... .
