RIAA phono preamplifier NE5532

If you still like to spin vinyl and features a turntable, but the amplifier has no more input for a turntable is below a switching solution. We used a NE5532 to a simple stereo RIAA phono preamp to build. The output can directly to the AUX or line-in of the amplifier. There is also a board layout is available. To hum and other disturbances to avoid the populated board in a fully dense aluminum or tin casing be installed. For the input and output can be used chinch.....

Low pass filter for Subwoofers

In the form it appears the theoretical circuit of filter. In first glance we see three different circuits that are mainly manufactured round two operational amplifiers. This circuits constitute mixed, amplifier with variable aid and a variable filter. The manufacture end needs a circuit of catering with operational tendency of catering equal with ±12. the operational amplifiers that constitute the active elements for this circuits of are double operational type as the.....

RIAA Corrector with LM1877N

The corrector part contains NE5532 integrated circuit with extreme small noise. Resistors are 1% metal film 0,6W types, condenser's of this corrector section must be 5% or better, 63 - 100 V types. Corrector section has direct output to external amp or computer. Amplifier section contains integrated amp IC LM1877. It deliver to speakers 2W/channel output power with very low distortion. Potentiometer P1 is for control the output power of the amp section...

no image available Hi-Fi Phono Preamp (RIAA Equalisation)

The phono preamp shown has an accurate RIAA equalisation curve, is very quiet, and offers far better sonic performance than the vast majority of those seen in magazines and application notes. Like most other ESP projects, it is very tolerant of opamps but the NE5532 dual op-amp is a good choice. This is a low noise, high speed device with excellent characteristics, and is inexpensive. It is ideally suited to this sort of application. Noise is extremely low, since any.....

Active Noise-Canceling Headphones

The electronics consist of three op-amp circuits; each built around one half of an NE5532 dual op-amp. Each circuit uses that op-amp in a different configuration. The first circuit is a non-inverting pre-amp, the second is a unity-gain phase-inverter, and the third is an inverting headphone amplifier. Since the Noise-Canceling Headphones is a stereo device, the circuit is actualty two identical circuits side-by-side. Only one channel will be described; the second channel.....

no image available Headphone Amplifier

High Quality unit with LM833 or NE5532 Low noise Dual Op-amp. No need for a preamplifier. # Can be directly connected to CD players, tuners and tape recorders. # Tested with several headphone models of different impedance: 32, 100, 245, 300, 600 & 2000 Ohm. # Old 8 Ohm impedance headphones can be also driven, but these obsolete devices are not recommended. # Schematic shows left channel and power supply (common to both channels). # Numbers in parentheses show IC1.....

AGC / S-Meter

You can build an automatic gain control AGC for the superhet receiver with only a few additional components. The first AGC circuit is more universal. It is suitable for audio amplifiers with dual op amps like TL072, TL082, NE5532 and the broadband amp NE592 too. The second circuit is only suitable for AF amplifiers with dual op amps because it requires equal DC voltage levels at inputs and outputs as well as insensitivity of them against supply voltage changes. This two.....

no image available Guitar Reverb Pedal project

This circuit was inspired by a friend who wanted a reberb for his portable guitar amplifier. I originally tried using NE5532 low noise op-amps for the buffer stages but they were too noisy for the low level circuits so I switched to discrete 2N3904 transistors, they seem to be fairly quiet. This circuit has a nice feature not found in most reverbs, a drive control for the spring amp. The drive can be turned way up and a nice smooth distortion effect will come out.....

no image available 10W Audio Amplifier with Bass-boost

High Quality, very simple design. No preamplifier required. This design is based on the 18 Watt Audio Amplifier, and was developed mainly to satisfy the requests of correspondents unable to locate the TLE2141C chip. It uses the widespread NE5532 Dual IC but, obviously, its power output will be comprised in the 9.5 - 11.5W range, as the supply rails cannot exceed ±18V...
