AVR Microcontroller Digital Clock with ATtiny2313

Usually we see Digital clock on LCD or 7 segmen. But, this AVR Digital Clock which is designed by Ficara Emilio displayed on Oscilloscope. The project use ATtiny 2313 as the main controller. What an interesting microcontroller project. Source code and schematic available for download....

MSF Radio Time Clock

The National Physics Laboratory broadcasts a time signal, previously known as the Rugby clock but now called "Time from NPL." Its most commonly known as the MSF signal due to it originally being identified in Morse code those letters. It is broadcast from Anthorn on 60kHz. Many commercial clocks use it to automatically set themselves. I decided to convert a digital clock I bought into one set by the MSF signal. To make the project more interesting I decided to use the.....

330 MHz Remote Control ATTINY2313

Once the transmitter circuit was working well, all that was left was to add an ATTINY2313, a battery, and some buttons. The Princeton Technology decoders, such as the PT2272, have an amazing tolerance for data rates - about plus or minus 50%. The ATTINY213 is clocked by its internal RC oscillator, and given the wide tolerance of the decoder, I didn't bother to calibrate the oscillator. The five input pins are configured as inputs with internal pullup resistors and the pin.....

Wide Basic for ATtiny2313

This firmware is intended to run on an Atmel ATtiny2313 operating from a 4, 8, 10, 16, or 20 MHz clock or an AT90S2313 operating from a 4 MHz clock. As far as I have been able to determine, the ATtiny2313 and AT90S2313 versions are interchangeable, and the only difference is that they were assembled using different include files. When connected to minimal interface circuitry, a chip programmed with this interpreter will interact with an ASCII terminal allowing the writing.....

AVR Frequency Meter

This is design for a frequency meter based on AVR microcontrollers. Maximum input frequency is specified to be 30 MHz in the multi-chip configuration, and in single-chip configuration, there are both 5 MHz and 10 Mhz versions operating with 10 and 20 MHz crystals, respectively. All versions have 9 1/2 digit resolution. I have used multi-chip version at 40 Mhz, and depending upon the actual chips you use and your layout, it can work at much higher input frequencies. The.....

no image available CodeLock AVR

CodeLock AVR electronic combination lock is realised with Atmel AVR microcontroller AT90S2313 or ATtiny2313. Program in hex code is 2 kB long. User code is consisted of 1 to 4 digits. If you buy the chip than user code is consisted of 1 to 8 digits. If the code is entered in the correct sequence, then after 1 second the relay and the electric striker (in the door) switch on for 1 second and then switch off again. User code can be changed via 3x4 matrix keypad...

serial interface with 2X16 LCD display

The 040904C version of the code has a larger UART receive buffer and supports two pushbuttons that send either and ASCII "R" ($52) or an ASCII carriage Something to keep in mind when using AVR controllers that support 16 bit addressing(specifically, the ATTINY2313/AT90S2313 only has an 8 bit stack pointer, while some others have 16 bit stack pointers) found by Rafael A. Alcocer has been taken into account in version ATTINY2313AT90S2313 version 030929A as well as being.....

AVR Inductance / Capacitance meter II

If this picture (above) looks a lot like the Pretty Good LC Meter also on this web site, that's because its the same meter, but with some significant improvements. At this point, its a good idea to read the Pretty Good LC Meter page because the rest of this page is based upon the Pretty Good LC Meter, and the Pretty Good LC Meter page explains how to build the meter. I have left the Pretty Good LC Meter page intact because it is a complete project and if one wants to.....

Morse Code Alarm Clock

(Almost) Trivial application of an AT90S2313 or ATtiny2313 in an alarm clock to change the alarm from "BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP..." to "WAKE UP" in Morse code. This was designed in response to a request and is in daily use. An inexpensive alarm clock was modified by installing a small circuit board inside the clock body and attaching some wires to the clock's circuit board. The second AA cell needed to bring the voltage up to 3 volts for the micro controller.....
