This unique circuit uses a very small amount of battery current and has excellent carrier suppression. Its only shortcoming is that you must limit the input signal to 0.7 Vp-p in order to prevent distortion. To use higher input voltages, replace Q3 with a JFET. A MOSFET doesnt do as well as an NPN transistor. visit page.

Overvoltage protection circuit

The silicon controlled rectifier (SCR) is rated to handle at least the current of the power supply. It is connected in parallel across the 12 V dc output lines, but remains inert until a voltage appears at the gate terminal. This triggering voltage is supplied by the zener diode. At potentials...

Ultrasonic Pest Repeller circuit

It is well know that pests like rats, mice etc are repelled by ultrasonic frequency in the range of 30 kHz to 50 kHz. Human beings cant hear these high-frequency sounds. Unfortunately, all pests do not react at the same ultrasonic frequency. While some pests get repelled at 35 kHz, some others...

Fast-overvoltage-protector

This circuit protects expensive portable equipment against all types of improper hookups and environmental hazards that could cause an overvoltage condition. It operates very quickly and does not latchup, that is, it recovers when the overvoltage condition is removed. In contrast, SCR...

Burst-power-control

Industrial applications sometimes require that power be only briefly applied to a load following the closure of a switch, such as a microswitch or foot switch. The load could be a heating element for use in sealing plastic bags, a de motor that is indexed or stepped with each application of...

Texas Instruments' power management integrated circuit turns power supplies in data centers and telecommunications equipment into fully scalable, stackable power systems.

One facility that can be very useful on the short wave bands is synchronous detection or synchronous demodulation as this can give much improved performance for receiving amplitude modulation (AM) transmissions.

When the carrier to noise ratio is not integral multiple of 3, carrier and modulate signal wave, have synchronous modulation right away. ? Control mode of synchronizing modulation. In the three-phase inverter circuit when the ...
