LEDs Revisited
LEDs come in various sizes and shapes, with the most common being round-topped cylinders with diameters of either 3 mm or 5 mm. These sizes are often referred to as T1 (3 mm) and T1 (5 mm). The body of...
APPLIANCE TIMER
This circuit controls intervals of up to 1 hour in 1-second increments, as programmed by thumb wheel switches S1 and S2. It consists of a two-stage programmed counter driven by a 1-second clock derived from the 60-Hz power line. The...
12v automotive electrical voltage
When troubleshooting the 12V electrical system of an automobile, it is beneficial to have a simple voltage indicator tool instead of a voltmeter. This electronic circuit is powered by two AA batteries or two N cells, providing sufficient energy for...
LED VoltMeter Circuit
A simple LED voltmeter is designed to monitor the charge level in a lead-acid battery or tubular battery. The terminal voltage of the battery is displayed using four LED indicators. The nominal terminal voltage for a lead-acid battery is 13.8...
LED outline display control unit cipher scheme on the basis of the one-chip computer
The LED guard-rail tube, also known as the decorative tube, is an advanced LED illumination product designed for decorative purposes. It utilizes red, green, and blue LEDs as light sources, employing microelectronics and digital technology to create color chasing effects,...
DC relay circuit to accelerate the release
A DC relay or contactor is utilized to enhance the excitation pull-in and release mechanisms in a circuit. The relay circuit, as depicted in Figure 6-28, facilitates improved return line efficiency. When the control relay KAi is activated, its normally...
12V Time Delay Relay Circuit
Protect your equipment with this compact 12V time delay relay circuit. The SMPS-based power supply of modern electronic devices is susceptible to voltage spikes.
This 12V time delay relay circuit is designed to safeguard sensitive electronic devices by providing a delay...
Fake Alarming LED Flasher
The parts to the right of T1 form a simple Joule-thief ('Blocking' oscillator) circuit which boosts the 1.2v supply to 3.5v to operate the LED. C1 is used to extend the charge and discharge cycles to increase brightness and efficiency....
LED stepdown power supply
Below is a proof of concept circuit which needs improvement. The part values shown will run a high efficiency red LED with a Vf of 1.9V from only 2 nicads, right down to 2 volts. For a white LED you...
