voltage measurement Measure current on a constant current source
Measure current on a constant current source (LM317). Since a 3.3V chip is being used, a voltage divider is also required for reading the current. Will this circuit function correctly, or will it cause issues by attempting to increase voltage...
Alternator Regulator Circuit
This alternator regulator utilizes a 3-transistor DC amplifier and is designed for a pulled-up field system, where one side of the alternator field returns to the +12V supply, and the other end is pulled toward ground. The circuit monitors the...
Wire Break Sensor Alarm Circuit Schematic
The circuit of a loop sensor-based simple security alarm is described here. The sensor loop consists of a short length of thin enamelled copper wire.
The loop sensor security alarm operates on the principle of detecting interruptions in the circuit formed...
The alarm circuit diagram for safety box and other metal objects
When an individual touches the safety box or other protected metal objects, the sensor circuit generates a pulse to the alarm circuit. The positive edge of this pulse activates the semiconductor and thyristor flash GE, subsequently triggering the camera to...
electronic circuit breaker
A circuit breaker is an automatically operated electrical switch designed to protect an electrical circuit from damage caused by overload or short circuit. Its basic function is to detect a fault condition and, by interrupting continuity, immediately discontinue electrical flow....
AC/DC Microammeter Circuit
This is a variation of Mr. Marian's "Simple Micro Ampere Meter Circuit" that employs active circuitry and an analog meter to measure sensitive DC currents.
The circuit in question is designed to provide precise measurements of very low DC currents, often...
Summing CT Measurements
This could be achieved by monitoring separate points either through the same recorder or, less ideally, two separate recorders. In both cases, the results need to be artificially summed to obtain the total current draw. Two problems arise: first, the...
Micro Ampere Meter
The microampere meter provides full-scale deflection for a 0.1 V input. The current to be measured flows through a known resistor.
The microampere meter is an essential instrument used for measuring very low currents in the microampere range. It operates on...
Sensor-Activated Relay Pulser Circuit
A sensor activates transistor Q1 to turn on the low-frequency 555 oscillator, which generates pulses to control LAMP II. The sensor may respond to variations in light or temperature. Either resistor RA or RB can function as the sensor, depending...
