Increasing Regulator Current
Although the 78xx series of voltage regulators are available with different current outputs, you can boost the available current output with this circuit. A power transistor is used to supply extra current to the load, maintaining a constant voltage. Currents...
solar panel lead acid batteries charger
This battery charger is designed for charging sealed lead-acid batteries using a solar panel in portable applications such as baby carriages. The standard diode that prevents the current from flowing back through the solar panel has been replaced with a...
Combination Digital Timer And Solar Panel Regulator For Digital Clock
This device is designed to maintain a deep cycle battery using energy harvested from a solar panel. It functions as a combination of a digital clock timer and a solar panel charge controller. Component: ..
This circuit serves the dual purpose...
0-15 Volt 0-1A Power supply
TR1 provides a constant current to a bank of three zener diodes, thus maintaining a constant voltage independent of supply voltage variations. The resistor Rx is used to sense the PSU output current and to switch off the current to...
ISL88731 SMBus Level 2 Battery Charger
The ISL88731 is a highly integrated Lithium-ion battery charger controller that can be programmed via the SMBus system management bus. It is designed for use in a smart battery charger (SBC) within a smart battery system (SBS) that regulates the...
Low/Zero-Carbon Office
The intention is to genuinely and measurably reduce energy consumption and/or micro-generate energy, leading to a net reduction in the energy imported to a residence each year. Since 2007/2008, all office lighting has been transitioned off-grid, achieving a zero-carbon status...
lithium ion li ion battery charger with
The diagram illustrates a Lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery charger designed using the MAX1879 single chip. This charger offers a simple and cost-effective solution for charging single-cell Li+ batteries without generating heat. The MAX1879, when paired with an AC linear transformer adapter...
A TREAD sized regulator
The size of the tread was 5 cm by 3 cm. The current design measures 5 cm by 3.3 cm. The regulator's foundation is based on Walt Jung's 1997 article, "Regulator Excels in Noise and Line Rejection," with modifications derived...
Lithium-ion Battery Charger One
The lithium-ion rechargeable battery charger described in the example operates using a constant voltage and current method. It is designed for charging 3.6V lithium-ion batteries commonly found in various mobile phones. The circuit's working principle involves a battery charger circuit,...
