8W-fworescent-lamp-inverter

Posted on Dec 11, 2012

This circuit has been designed to drive an 8-W fluorescent lamp from a 12-V source using an inexpensive inverter based on the ZTX652 transistor. The inverter will operate from supplies in the range of 10 to 16.5 V, thus making it suitable for use in on-charge systems such as caravanettes as well as periodically charged systems, such as camping lights, outhouse lights, etc.
