A South African company has developed a 5-kilowatt Fuel Free Generator and discovered that the longevity of the batteries is significantly affected by the process. There are various types of batteries available for testing, including different lead-acid batteries, gel cells, car batteries, as well as 2-volt, 6-volt, and 12-volt batteries, along with nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) and other homemade battery types. If the batteries remain charged while discharging 30 amps through the load, and each of the six batteries receives only 10 amps of charging current, the source of the additional 20 amps of energy remains unclear. To achieve a maximum switching speed of 2857 Hz, the opto-isolator must be driven harder to ensure that the gate turn-off voltage falls below +2 volts. A 470K variable resistor in the 555 astable circuit can adjust the frequency to some extent, but its primary purpose is to maintain a 50% duty cycle. The square wave cycle time is 350 microseconds, with a MOSFET on time calculated as 135 microseconds after accounting for a dead time of 40 microseconds. To eliminate the reduced power output issue, it is necessary to increase the load current to compensate for the loss of 1/4375 of the MOSFET on time. The output voltage from the Tesla switch cannot be guaranteed due to the requirement to significantly reduce the switching frequency when the batteries are charged, leading to periodic removal of the dead time. Reducing the power consumption of the drive circuits allows for smaller batteries to be used in portable free energy devices, resulting in less instability and stress on the toroid used for creating isolated 12-volt supplies. The switching aspect of the circuit has been designed and tested, and construction is now underway. This project is substantial and has proven to be quite costly due to the numerous components required for proper PCB production.
The mechanical switching design offers the advantage of utilizing higher voltage batteries, unlike solid-state circuits which are limited to approximately 12 volts per battery. Proper machining equipment is essential for accurately constructing the rotational mechanical switches. The project demonstrates a blend of innovative energy solutions and intricate circuit design, emphasizing the importance of optimizing battery performance and circuit efficiency. The use of a variable resistor allows for fine-tuning of the frequency, ensuring that the system operates within the desired parameters while maintaining the necessary duty cycle for effective switching. The design's ability to handle higher voltage batteries enhances its potential applications, particularly in scenarios demanding more robust power solutions. The integration of various battery types and the exploration of their performance under different load conditions further contribute to the overall understanding of energy generation and storage in this pioneering system. The South Africa company, which has developed the 5 kilowatt Fuel Free Generator, has discovered that the batteries` longevity is significantly effected by the process. As far as the choice of batteries to test is concerned, there are many different lead acid batteries, Gel Cells, Car Batteries, 2 volt batteries, 6 volt, 12 volt also NiMH or other
types of home made battery. If the batteries stay charged while you are discharging 30 amps through the load, & each of the 6 batteries only receives 10 amps charging current, where does the 20 amps free energy come from. - To achieve a maximum switching speed of 2857 Hz, the opto isolator has to be driven harder to make sure that the gate turn off voltage falls below + 2 volts.
There is a 470K variable resistor in the 555 astable circuit which can be used to adjust the frequency to some extent but its main purpose is to maintain a 50 % duty cycle. The square wave cycle time is 350 micro seconds, the mosfet on time will be ( 175 micro seconds - a dead time of 40 micro seconds ) = 135 micro seconds of on time.
If you want to eliminate the reduced power output issue, you have to increase the load current to take into consideration 1/4375 of the mosfet on time has been lost. The output voltage from the tesla switch cannot be guaranteed due to the need to reduce the switching frequency considerably when the batteries become charged, thus the dead time will be removed periodically.
Lowering the power consumption of the drive circuits means that smaller batteries can used to build portable free energy devices & there is less instability & stress on the toroid which is used to create the isolated 12 volt supplies. Thats the switching part of the circuit designed & tested, now the construction begins. - This is a big project & has turned out to be quite expensive as there are quite a large number of parts to buy & make, partly so that the pcbs can be produced properly.
