avr Control 5V buzzer using mcu and a single 5 V power supply
A PB-12N23PW-05Q buzzer and I`m trying to use it with ATmega 162. I can`t connect it directly to pin, because from what I`ve read from 162`s datasheet, it can source at most 20 mA. The buzzer takes 50 (or around 25, if we take a look at the graph), so I don`t think I can just directly connect it to the microcontroller. My initial idea was to connect it to a transistor and use the transistor as a switch. Unfortunately,
microcontroller Why this transistor logic as switch is not working
I opened remote of a RC car and extended wires out of backward, forward, left and right switches. So when I ground anyone of then the circuit completes andit sends signal to the car. I wanted to close the circuit using one of the I/O pins of BeagleBone Black. The output voltage on these I/O pins is about 3. 3V. I found out that I can use transistor as a switch but after a putting all the things
Transistor act as a switch
Transistor is a semiconductor device used for switching and amplification of weak signals. This article explains how a transistor work and the working of transistor as a switch. At present, transistors are applied in most of the electronic equipments for switching purposes. Digital ICs, Microcontrollers, etc uses thousands of embedded transistor f
transistor as a switch circuit problems
Hi, I`m trying to build a circuit with two key switches, where both key switches need to be closed for the current to go through. I am trying to use a ..
Fan control troubleshooting Microcontroller Programming
Control a fan using an LM34 temp sensor and a computer fan with model number : ASB0912L. I used a 2N7000 mosfet transistor as a switch. I want my fan to run at 35% duty cyle when the temperature is above 77 fahrenheit and to run at 0% duty cycle when temperature is equal to or less then 77 fahrenheit. I tried using the code below but the fan keeps running all the time. // fan_controller. c // for NerdKits with
