Many times we needed to strengthen a small signal in the region of VHF or FM. The preamplifier that to you we propose offers 20dB in all the region of VHF and it still can reach also their 500MHZ. The amplifier is a circuit of high frequency RF with distinguishable materials. The amplifier as circuit strengthens the tendency of signal with concrete aid, depending on the frequency of signal...

This circuit is useful to amplify and distribute video signals with low noise and without losses. The CA3100 is a fast opamp designed to amplify video signals. Set the P1 to control the input signal level to have a clear picture on the TV set...

This is a simple display controller. It can be controlled with a small microcontroller, such as MCS51, 68HC11, Z80, AVR and others. Several years ago, I found an article that controlling a TV with only a PIC micorcontroller, and I surprised to it. It is very interesting to attempt to synthesize video signal with a micorcontroller. However, it is not suitable for practical use because the microcontroller is occupied in synthesizing video signal, it cannot process any other operation. Therefore, this technic can be applied to a toy at the best. It is required a display controller to contorl the video monitor, so I designed and built a simple display controller for RGB monitor and TV monitor...

The circuit in Figure 1 transmits 200MHz (-3dB bandwidth) video signals while stripping off the sync pulse and performing DC restoration. It is configured for a typical video cable driver application driving a double-terminated 75 load, where the EL8102 (IC3) is configured for a gain of +2 to ensure unity gain throughout...

The design is based on a switchable array of six Maxim MAX4258 dual-channel video multiplexer-amplifiers, IC1 through IC6. Under control of a 4-bit input word, you can set the number of stages in the gain cascade to three, four, five, or six. Because each multiplexer-amp has a fixed gain of four, each unit change in the stage count changes the overall gain by 12 dB. In addition, you can interpose a 6-dB attenuator between the last and the next-to-last gain stages. The attenuator adds a factor-of-two resolution to the programmed gain and eight distinct gain settings (Table 1)...

Got some questions about video amps. I`ve seen an NE592 used as a video buffer amp at the end of a 75 ohm line. Used so that the 75 ohm line could drive all kinds of neat processing stuff without affecting the signal (that`s what a buffer is after all, right?) Now National Semiconductor makes an LM592 that`s also a video amp. Do these two chips cross reference to eachother?..

Often you can get away with running a monochrome monitor on GREEN, but this looks real crappy when viewing color images. These simple resistor networks allow you to display R+G+B on a B/W or CCTV monitor without ghosting. Be shure to set your video card for 60Hz interlaced. Most video cards do give you Csync out on H. You can also run an OLD monochrome EGA or VGA monitor like this, but be shure to hook up the Vsync. This will not work on TTL monitors. Note that some monitors require unusual sync polarities!..

This signal generator uses a three channel DAC to generate Composite video signal (CVBS) and S video signal (Y/C separated) at the same time, left one channel is not used in NTSC format. It is assigned for one of the color components of Y/CB/CR video format...

The LM1823 is a video I.F. amplifier designed to operate at intermediate carrier frequencies up to 70 MHz, and employ phase locked loops for synchronous detection of amplitude modulation on these carrier frequencies. The high gain, wide AGC range and low noise of the LM1823 make it ideal for use in television receivers, video cassette recorders and in cable TV set-top converters requiring high quality detected base-band video and an audio intercarrier...
